This year (2016) we *need* parental help in order to run the program. To simplify the process we have defined clear tasks so that no one person has to take on too much. Just a few hours of time is really all that is needed for each of these tasks. All tasks will have oversight and guidance from the Baseball Commissioner so you will have plenty of support to make sure you are successful. The estimated time commitment is indicated in parentheses.

Field Day Coordinators (6 hours)

One for Webster Park and another for Epsom Central School. These people will pick a day and time prior to the first game for "field cleanup" and oversee the event. Field cleanup involves clearing the base paths of weeds, placing bases, raking the field, setup of bleachers or benches, and other small tasks that prepare the fields for practice and games.

T-Ball Assistant Coordinator (1 hr/week)

This individual will create a game schedule that includes the Chichester T-ball teams and make sure Webster Park is properly equipped for game days (i.e. field lime, field prep. equipment in working order)

Babe Ruth Scheduler (3 hours)

We have a bunch of contacts with other Babe Ruth leagues. We just need someone to reach out to them to setup some games. It's something we do every year to form our game schedule. We look to have 12-14 games during the season. In the past we have played Bow and Kearsarge Mtn. This year we might play some games with Farmington.

Babe Ruth League Representative (3 hours)

We are part of the Bow Babe Ruth league and there are about 2-3 meetings in the preseason to plan. In the past we have just given a report on how many teams we plan to bring to the league (typically just one). We also might discuss selection of all-star players or a possible pre-season tournament between Epsom and Bow!

End of Season Celebration Committee (4 hours)

The end of season celebration is typically a 60-90 minute event where participation awards and light refreshments are served. The committee will be responsible for purchase of refreshments, securing the venue, if necessary, and preparing it for the event.
